ANew ERA Of NEW ERA'S

What ever happen to the good old NY fitted--the hat that toped the average kid going to school to the homeless man on the corner. From the chart topping HipHop Emcee to the everyday working man. This hat is a staple of NYC Culture.

But now there's a new Clothing line with a new New Era hat every other day. Its becoming to much. Some of these clothing lines are just doing the same thing ie. All over prints and polka dots. Other clothing lines have actually come up with real innovative and different ways to freak a New Era Fit but still the fact remains that there all New Era hats.

We've seen some clothing lines come out with all original hats with there Logo's and no affiliation with new era but why haven't these other ones tried. Could it be a money issue could it be a Trend...hmmmm Well I'll Stick to my snap backs

Trust me, when New Era works with a brand, it's not for the money. As a company, New Era makes the bulk of its profits from the Authentic 59FIFTY collection. There are a few reasons brands want to collab with New Era:
1 - New Era has been around since 1920. There are very few brands that can boast that type of longevity.
2 - No other cap fits, or will ever fit, like a New Era cap. At the end of the day, there are many brands that make fitted caps. However, there is only one 59FIFTY!
3 - New Era is a globally-recognized brand. If anyone so places their logo or design on a 59FIFTY, it will be regarded as a quality product. New Era could do a Payless 59FIFTY, and it would still see due to the level of craftmanshift that goes into making every single New Era cap.
4 - More than 50% of New Era caps are made here, on American soil. Many brands become huge and then outsource their product. New Era keeps the majority of their production here. By doing so, they provide more jobs in Americans.
5 - All New Era 59FIFTYs are made in 22 steps, by HAND! Thats right! 22 different sets of hands go into making that fitted that you have on your head. And most of those hands are American.
I could go on and on about New Era, but I honestly don't have to. I know your post wasn't knocking them. I know you would like to see brands develop their own line of fitteds. That's cool. Just realize that no matter what, at the end of the day, there is only one 59FIFTY!
